
For students with accepted abstracts, please make sure to submit your full project report through EasyChair (click here). The submission of the project report is open until April 14, 2017.
How to prepare your project report:
Please make sure that your report includes the following sections: title page, abstract, table of contents, introduction (motivation and problem definition), related work survey, methods description, results, conclusions, and list of references. The report should have a minimum of four pages. Also, the maximum font size is 12 points.
Also please make sure to include the following statement at the end of the title page of your project report: “Declaration: WE, project team members recognize what plagiarism is and WE hereby declare that this project, which is submitted to National Technology Parade, is our own work. WE have not plagiarized from any sources (including copy and paste). All references and acknowledgments of sources are given and cited in our project. WE have used the conventional citation and referencing. Each significant contribution to and quotation in this project from work of other people has been attributed and referenced.”
How to submit your project report:
Once you complete your project report, please login into your EasyChair account (click here), and do the following:

Click NEW SUBMISSION on the top left side of the page.

Select the track of your project.

Complete the needed information about your project and upload your project report as a PDF file
Project evaluation:
The evaluation of the project is composed for two phases, as follows:
A. First review phase: the project report (should be submitted by April 14, 2017) will be reviewed by two reviewers. Bases on the two reviews, the project will be assigned a score out of 30. The total score out of 30 marks will be used to qualify projects for the exhibition on May 4, 2017.
The evaluation of the project report will be based on the following criteria:
1. Problem Importance (10 marks): The project has an economic impact on the national industry. It leads to a marketable product or could be a basis for a small business enterprise.
2. Originality and Innovation (8 marks): This criterion measures how the project idea or solution is a realization of an innovative original idea and not a replica of previous student projects.
3. Substance, Implementation, and Feasibility (7 marks): The project should be substantial and represent the work of a team of students for several months. Also, the report show a creative design approach that resulted in a compete prototype of the system. The project should have an economic impact on the national industry. It also leads to a marketable product or could be a basis for a small business enterprise.
4. Presentation (5 marks): The report format conforms to the standards of scientific reporting, sound technical content and abiding by the code of professional ethics, giving proper credit to earlier work. The report should have title page, abstract, table of contents, introduction (motivation and problem definition), related work survey, methods description, results, conclusions, and list of references.
B. Second review phase: Once qualified, another 70 marks will be graded according to the project demonstration in the exhibition on May 4, 2017. The final score out of 100 marks will be used to select the three winners in each track by the relevant referee committee.
